Stumbled upon a site recently that charged directors to access a bank of spec scripts. It got me thinking about how the process works for most of you. Love to hear your thoughts on any of the below Qs.

Filmmakers
- Do you usually collaborate with writers or develop spec concepts yourself? - Which do you prefer?
- How difficult is it to find good spec concepts/ scripts?
- Where do you go to find them?

Writers
- Do you see value in getting your spec scripts shot?

Everyone
- What do you want out of your spec work?
- Is it for your portfolio/ reel? Are you trying to sell it?

Just wondering. If you're interested, maybe we can try to set up a mutually beneficial exchange here.

Yep - thats true as well. Trying to make the next 'viral' commercial is definitely a big thing for production companies everywhere. I do hope our Guitar Hero Mockumentary commercials ends up getting a lot of hits on Youtube, although I'm not exactly sure how that happens, because everything I've put up on there doesn't really get all that many hits. I think there's a need for a marketing plan to get people's attention on there, not really sure.
yep-i know what you meen.
keep the good work and you will get many hits. don't forget to send an aleart when your new spec is on the air. i promise to seed it to my friends.
