We have some really wonderful work in the Image Gallery and I was surprised to see many of the pieces do not have any comments posted.
We have some equally wonderful videos that have been submitted, but there are several more comments posted for videos then for print work. Why do you think people are more interested in videos than print?
I think Flickr is a great place to locate people primarily interested in print and photography work. That's how I was introduced to Ad Bakery. Flickr has a huge community for individuals who enjoy advertising of all kinds. I think photo sharing sites in general would be a good place to find people who share an interest in advertising.
I searched through other popular photo sharing sites and was pleased to discover a variety of ads posted.
On another note, I have noticed there are several members who have joined, but for some reason or another, they have not filled out their personal pages (Sheets) or submitted work. I have been sending welcome messages to some of these individuals trying to let them know how much we appreciate them being here and that we look forward to hearing from them and seeing the great work they produce.
I think you have created a great place for people with an interest in advertising through the Ad Bakery! I hope we can all pitch in, add some layers to the cake, and share some frosting. ;o)
I hope this is helpful! ;o) Would love to hear your thoughts.
We'll do! ;o) I also started a group called Design To Make You Go Hmm... over at Flickr. Members add their great ideas, designs and copywriting for inspiration or marketing. This beautiful logo created by Ronn Orenstein is a great example! ;o)
I'll make sure to let members know about Ad Bakery. You can check it out here.
